A Legacy of Excellence on the Water
The Voyage Begins
Founding Partners Eddie Russell and Barry Marshall opened the doors to Viage Group in Sarasota, Florida. Launching with a single premium brand—Scout Boats—ranging from 15 to 32 feet, the company quickly found its footing. The market responded with immediate enthusiasm, setting the stage for rapid growth.
Expanding Brands & Horizons
Building on their initial momentum, Viage Group expanded its luxury lineup in 2014 by adding two legendary names in boating: Beneteau and Chris-Craft. To accommodate growing demand, the company opened its second location in 2015 at the Loggerhead Marina in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Anchoring the West Coast
Viage Group solidifies its footprint across the West Coast of Florida with back-to-back expansions:
2017: Opened the Fort Myers location.
2018: Opened the Naples location.
A Landmark Transition to Employee Ownership
After twelve years of dedicated leadership—growing the business from one brand and one storefront into a powerhouse of four strategic locations and three premier brands—Eddie and Barry made a visionary move for the company's future.
n 2025, they successfully transitioned Viage Group to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), selling the company to its 30+ dedicated employees and making it 100% employee-owned.
